Hi Fitz Family – 

I hope this message finds you and your loved ones in good health. You may recall my last communication in early April letting you know that we were closing our clinics. I promised to notify you of our planned reopening and update you on next steps that we would take in preparation for serving you, given this new environment.

We are currently planning to reopen our clinics in both Melrose and Woburn on May 11th, 2020. It goes without saying that we will continue to monitor and follow Federal, State and Local regulations. As the situation surrounding COVID19 evolves, we are also following guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. We will of course revise our plan based on the direction of those authorities if required. Our website will be the best source for schedule updates.

The safety of our patients and staff has always been, and remains, our highest priority. Rest assured, our team is excited to welcome you back. We have spent a lot of time discussing and implementing plans so that we are prepared to serve you in a safe, sterile and efficient manner. I would like to highlight just a few of these steps:

• Upon reopening, we will start with a limited schedule and less patients in order to control the total number of people in the clinic at one time
• Drivers/ other non-patients are asked to wait in their cars, unless minors or other required chaperones
• Anyone who enters the clinics must have an appointment. We will be monitoring everyone who will be entering and exiting
• We are asking all patients to please take their temperature before coming to the clinic for their appointment. If you do have a temperature above 100.4 , please call us and we’d be happy to reschedule. You will also be asked a few health screening questions prior to your appointment
•  Patients will be asked to stand 6 feet apart while waiting for their appointment to begin and to stand back at least 6 feet from our receptionists
• Patients will also be asked to wash their hands upon entering before their appointment begins
• Physical Therapists will wash their hands after treating each patient with soap and water as well as use hand sanitizer during appointments as needed
• All Physical Therapists will be wearing masks and we are asking you to wear your own from home as well
• Our clinics will now be rearranged to make better use of social distancing
• After each patient, all equipment, tables, etc. touched or used will be wiped down with a disinfectant wipe
• We will continue to have a professional cleaning company thoroughly clean the office as well as a daily cleaning with an airborne disinfectant
• All used linens washed and sanitized by a professional laundering company
• There will be no cash exchange as all payments should be made via online or over the phone
