Dr. Kaitlyn Doucakis
Dr. Kaitlyn Doucakis started her physical therapist journey by attending Indiana University of Pennsylvania (IUP) in Indiana, PA where she received her Bachelors of Science in Athletic Training. While attending IUP, she worked with high school and Division II and III athletics. Kaitlyn worked with numerous sport’s teams and completed a year-long internship with IUP’s football team where she gained valuable experience working with higher level athletes on and off the field.
Kaitlyn then decided to further her education at Northeastern University where she received her Doctorate of Physical Therapy. She is currently dual credentialed and licensed as a Physical Therapist and Athletic Trainer.
After graduation from Northeastern University, Kaitlyn worked at an outpatient physical therapy clinic, where she gained experience working with a diverse patient population of all ages for a variety of orthopedic and neurologic conditions. Kaitlyn has special interests in working with athletes post concussion and return-to-sport for the active population.
Originally from Northeastern Pennsylvania, Kaitlyn enjoyed playing softball and volleyball in high school. In her free time, you will find her on the golf course, walking her dog or spending time with her husband and son.
