Dr. Julia Carzo
Julia is a graduate of Northeastern University, where she earned her Bachelor's degree in Rehabilitation Sciences followed by a Doctorate in Physical Therapy. Her academic journey was enriched by invaluable hands-on experiences working with patients of diverse ages and conditions during co-operative and clinical placements.
Throughout her time at Northeastern, Julia had the privilege of addressing a wide spectrum of musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. During two co-op experiences, she worked closely with spinal cord injury patients and even had the opportunity to provide both land and aquatic-based physical therapy services in an outpatient orthopedic setting in Hawaii. Julia's subsequent clinical placements solidified her skills in a variety of inpatient and outpatient settings.
Julia's treatment philosophy revolves around a blend of hands-on manual therapy techniques and targeted therapeutic exercises, tailored to each patient's unique needs. She takes pride in delivering compassionate, individualized care that prioritizes patients' comfort and promotes optimal recovery.
Julia grew up with her parents and three sisters in Andover, MA . Her passion for physical therapy was started by her active involvement in sports such as field hockey, lacrosse, and track. These experiences instilled in her the value of a healthy lifestyle, emphasizing injury prevention and treatment.
In her free time, Julia enjoys strength training, running, cooking, traveling and spending quality time with friends and family.
