Dr. Alicia DiMauro
Alicia earned her Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Northeastern University after completing her Bachelor’s Degree in Kinesiology at Michigan State University. As a former Division I Rower at Michigan State, she developed a deep understanding of the physical demands of high-level athletics, fueling her passion for injury recovery and performance optimization.
Alicia has experience working with a diverse range of patients, from collegiate and high school athletes to active adults and the geriatric population. She has a special interest in sports rehabilitation and injury prevention, with a focus on helping athletes of all ages return to peak performance and daily activities. Her background includes working with the Michigan State Football Program and the Notre Dame Men’s Lacrosse team, where she assisted athletes with injury management, rehabilitation, and return-to-play strategies both on and off the field.
Dedicated to delivering personalized, evidence-based care, Alicia empowers her patients to regain strength, mobility, and confidence. She stays current with the latest advancements in physical therapy to ensure the best possible outcomes for those she treats.
Outside the clinic, Alicia stays active through strength training, cycling, running half marathons, and exploring the outdoors. She enjoys attending sporting events and can often be found hiking scenic trails with her dog, Avery, or preparing for her next race. Whether in the gym or on the trail, she embraces movement as a fundamental part of both her life and practice.
As the Clinic Manager of our Melrose location, Alicia is committed to fostering a welcoming and supportive environment for patients and staff alike. She would love to see you for an appointment and help you achieve your movement and recovery goals!
