As many of you are aware, our clinics are open in both Melrose and Woburn. As the number of COVID cases are rising, please be assured that we continue to strictly monitor and follow Federal, State and Local regulations. We also continue to follow guidance from the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention.
The safety of our patients and staff has always been and continues to be our highest priority. We are committed to serving our patients in a safe, sterile and efficient manner. Therefore, we’d like to reiterate the safety protocols we are adhering to:
- Anyone who enters the clinics must have an appointment. We will be monitoring everyone who will be entering and exiting.
- We are asking all patients to please take their temperature before coming to the clinic for their appointment. If you do have one, please call us and we’d be happy to reschedule.
- Patients will be asked to stand 6 feet apart while waiting for their appointment to begin. We will do everything we can to keep all appointments on-time as scheduled
- Patients will also be asked to wash their hands upon entering before their appointment begins
- Physical Therapists will wash their hands after treating each patient with soap and water as well as use hand sanitizer during appointments as needed
- All Physical Therapists will be wearing masks and we are asking you to wear your own from home as well. If you do not have one, we will provide one for you.
- After each patient, all equipment, tables, etc. touched or used will be wiped down with a disinfectant wipe
- We will continue to have a professional cleaning company thoroughly clean the office
- All used linens washed, bleached and sanitized by a professional cleaning company
There are also a few additional measures we are taking to accommodate our patients to ensure they feel safe and comfortable such as:
- Offering Telehealth – get the physical therapy you need from the comfort and safety of your home. All that you need is a laptop, tablet or mobile phone with a working camera. You can learn more about Telehealth and how it works here.
- The ability to schedule and appointment in the early hours of the morning or evening when there will be a very reduced number of people in the clinic
- Ability to do your PT session outside (pending injury and as weather allows)
If there’s anything else we can do to make you feel even more comfortable, please let us know! We are always here for our patients welcome your feedback.
We wish you all safe and happy holidays this year and remember to always wear a mask!!
