Hi Fitz Family –
I hope this message finds you and your loved ones in good health! As the Thanksgiving holidays are quickly upon us, I wanted to take a moment to really reflect on the fact that we have SO much to be grateful – as I’m sure you do as well. Therefore, I wanted to share the top 5 I am personally the most grateful for:
1. New offerings at Fitzgerald PT – in addition to our usual services, this past year we launched a few new offerings here at Fitzgerald PT! We started with the official launch of our Fitz’s Athletes for Life program offering both an athletic preparedness evaluation and a running gait analysis. We also launched The Aging Athlete services to help athletes preserve their body for as long as possible and minimize collateral damage so they can enjoy the sports you love – no matter how old they are. And one of our favorite new offerings is Services for Runners. As a runner myself, being able to offer services geared specifically towards runners is near and dear to my heart. Our goal is to work specifically with runners to help them meet their running goals.
2. PT Growth – I am thankful for witnessing the growth and professional development of former team members over the past years. Many still keep in contact with us even though they’ve moved on. Some who have started their careers with us and now have their own families as well. We are so happy for them and their success! And proud to have been a part of their journey.

3. Fitz Family – I am incredibly thankful for my “Fitz home team” – my husband Sean and my children give me the motivation I need to be at my best every day. It’s not always easy being a business owner and having a family, but somehow, we make it all work. In addition, our Fitz family has grown so much over the past year! I’m so thankful for all the new faces on our team. We are busier than ever and with that comes new PT and support staff. We also pride ourselves on the fact that we’ve created a culture here at Fitzgerald PT that allows the new staff to feel welcome, and for the clinic to be a place where they can really learn and grow.

4. Fitness Goals – This past year, I had the opportunity to run the Bank of America Chicago Marathon for the second year in a row on the AFSP Race for Hope Team. I ran to honor my lifelong friend, whom we tragically lost to suicide. I appreciated each and every person who donated to help with this cause. The funds raised went toward scientific research, public education on mood disorders and suicide advocacy for policies and legislation, and support for survivors of suicide loss and those at risk. I was able to finish the race and have committed to running again with the team in 2025!

5. Our Patients – because without you all, Fitzgerald PT would not exist! We say all the time that we love our patients, but year after year, it’s still true. Working with patients frequently has enabled us to get to know them better and grow personal relationships. I cannot tell you how grateful I am each time a patient takes time out of their busy day to write us a note, letter or review. Reading these warms my heart and affirms that we are doing the right thing. Each encounter makes me a better clinician and business owner. Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your recovery journey!

Lastly, I would like to thank you for your continued loyalty and being such a valued friend of Fitzgerald Physical Therapy. On behalf of my entire team, please know that we consider it a privilege to serve all our patients and the community year after year.
We hope you have a wonderful and safe Thanksgiving holiday this year!
With a grateful heart,
Dr. Holly Fitzgerald, Owner and President of Fitzgerald Physical Therapy Associates
