Fitzgerald Physical Therapy is a locally-owned small business with three convenient locations in Melrose, Woburn, and Wilmington. As part of our team, you'll have access to a wide range of cutting-edge services, including Alter-G Anti-Gravity treadmill training, blood flow restriction training (BFR), dry needling, manual therapy, instrument-assisted soft tissue mobilization, pelvic floor therapy, and vestibular therapy.

Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist
What we're looking for in an ideal candidate:
- Providing all therapeutic services, evaluating and treating a varied patient caseload
- Developing functional, outcome-based and creative treatment exercises & activities
- Using experienced clinical and manual skills when appropriate
- The timely completion of all required documentation
- Actively participating in rehabilitation team efforts to meet patient needs, including, counseling, and teaching patients, discussing changes in treatment programs with MD’s, coordinating health care plans with other involved healthcare professionals and assisting in discharge planning as appropriate
- Striving to keep current on advances in the field via professional publications, conferences, classes and consultation with other professionals
- Be an active member of our Fitz Fam culture
- Participating in local marketing activities, team and community events
- Requirements:
- Must be a graduate of an accredited physical therapy program (Bachelors, Masters and Doctoral degrees considered. New graduates also welcome!
- Must possess an unrestricted, active license to practice physical therapy in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, OR be scheduled to sit for the exam
- Must hold Herman and Wallace Pelvic Floor Level 1 or equal certification course.
- Must be a team player, flexible and willing to work together with a small, tight-knit clinical team
- Must possess effective communication skills (written and verbal) to interact with staff, patients’ rehabilitation and medical teams, patients and their families
- Must have efficient (online) documentation skills, an attention to detail and a willingness to learn.
- Must have a passion for helping people
- Ability to work nights and evening as a strong recommendation/requirement. Possibility for over-time
- The position also requires a personable, collaborative attitude, the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the desire to have LOTS of fun in the process!!!

Physical Therapist
What we're looking for in an ideal candidate:

Previous experience in a clinical setting preferred (but not required)
- Flexibility to transition between our Melrose, Wilmington and Woburn offices as needed
- Authorization to work in the United States (required)
- A proactive problem solver who can strategically manage patient schedules and be flexible to accommodate last-minute changes
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a friendly and outgoing demeanor towards both patients and staff
- Comfortable communicating and collaborating with other PTs on a daily basis
- Proficient in verbal and written communication, efficiently handling patient business operations
- A team player who prioritizes patient satisfaction and the success of our business
- Professional attitude and a positive "can-do" approach and a great fit with the patient-centric culture we've worked hard to create.
